Lionel Messi flew to India for the three-day “GOAT India Tour 2025,” highlighted by the unveiling of a massive statue standing over 21 meters tall in Kolkata. The giant sculpture depicts Messi holding the FIFA World Cup trophy and was installed in the Lake Town area in northern Kolkata, near the Kolkata Time Zone Tower — a structure built at one-third the scale of London’s Big Ben.

During the visit, Messi was also gifted an ultra-rare Richard Mille RM 003 V2 Asia Edition by Anant Ambani. Valued at around $1.1 million, the timepiece is more than a luxury watch — it is widely seen as a symbol of respect, influence, and global power.

It is also worth noting that Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s richest billionaire. The Ambani family is renowned for its ultra-luxurious lifestyle, closely associated with high-end fashion, bespoke jewelry, and frequent international travel. Their residence, Antilia, is operated by more than 600 staff members, including chefs, drivers, household attendants, and a dedicated security team.
