Security cameras recorded a shocking burglary at Real Madrid forward Rodrygo’s luxury villa in the exclusive Madrid suburb of La Moraleja on Wednesday night, with thieves stealing an estimated €3.3 million in watches, jewelry, and cash. The 24-year-old Brazilian was thousands of miles away in Belo Horizonte, scoring in Brazil’s 4-1 World Cup qualifying win over Venezuela when the raid took place.

At 11:27 p.m., three masked men in dark clothing used a hydraulic tool to force open the electric gate, cut the alarm cables, and entered the property in under seven minutes. Footage shows them calmly ransacking bedrooms and  safes before escaping in a waiting Audi with diplomatic plates that police believe was stolen earlier in Barcelona.

Spanish National Police have launched a major investigation, reviewing hours of CCTV and tracking the getaway vehicle, which was later found burned out near Toledo. Rodrygo returned to Madrid yesterday and posted a brief statement thanking fans for their support while confirming his family was safe at the time of the robbery. The incident is the latest in a string of high-profile footballer burglaries across Europe this season.
