The relationship within the family of former English football star David Beckham is increasingly strained as his eldest son, Brooklyn, posted an open letter on social media, revealing the reasons for his estrangement from his family.

Brooklyn Beckham has just shocked the public by publicly speaking out for the first time about his long-standing conflict with his family, frankly criticizing his parents in a six-part Instagram post. Previously, everyone believed the main cause of the Beckham family’s discord was his wife, Nicola Peltz. It’s worth noting that Brooklyn had distanced himself from the Beckham family after his wedding to Nicola Peltz, the heiress to a vast fortune – the woman Brooklyn frequently flaunted on social media. Furthermore, Brooklyn, the eldest son of the famous couple David and Victoria Beckham, remarried last year with a lavish ceremony without inviting any family members, including his parents and siblings.

“I’ve been silent for years and done everything I could to keep these things a secret. Unfortunately, my parents and their staff kept going to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak out myself and tell the truth about some of the lies that were published. I don’t want to reconcile with my family. I don’t want to be manipulated. This is the first time in my life I’ve stood up for myself,” Brooklyn shared.

“Throughout my life, my parents have controlled the media coverage of our family. Fake social media posts and insincere relationships have been an integral part of my life. Recently, I’ve witnessed firsthand how they’re willing to do anything to spread countless lies in the media, primarily targeting gullible people, to maintain their own facade. But I believe the truth will eventually come out.

Even before my wedding, my parents relentlessly tried to sabotage my relationship with Nicola, and it hasn’t stopped. My mother canceled Nicola’s wedding dress order at the last minute, forcing me to frantically find another dress. A few weeks before the big day, my parents constantly pressured me to give up the Beckham name.”

This, of course, would affect me, my wife, and our future children. They insisted I sign the agreement before the wedding. My refusal meant I wouldn’t be paid as promised, and since then, they haven’t treated me the same way.”

Brooklyn Beckham continued: “During the wedding planning process, my mother even called me ‘the devil’ for seeing Nicola and I decide to invite both of our nannies to the wedding. The night before the wedding, members of my family told me that Nicola was ‘not a blood relative’ and ‘not family.’ From the moment I started defending myself against my family, I received countless attacks from my parents, both privately and publicly. They even asked my siblings to attack me on social media, before completely blocking me last summer.”

According to Brooklyn, his mother, Victoria, ruined his first dance with his wife Nicola at their wedding. “I had planned weeks in advance with a romantic song to dance with my wife. In front of 500 guests, Marc Anthony called me onto the stage, where the romantic dance with my wife was supposed to take place, but instead, my mother was waiting to dance with me. She danced terribly in front of everyone. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable or embarrassed in my life.” This was also one of the reasons Brooklyn decided to hold a second wedding ceremony without inviting his parents or siblings.

Another detail Brooklyn mentioned was that his wife Nicola was constantly treated disrespectfully by her family, no matter how hard she tried. “My mother even invited my ex-girlfriends to events we attended several times to make us both uncomfortable. Despite this, we still went to London for my father’s birthday, but we were turned away for a whole week while waiting at the hotel trying to meet him.

Finally, he agreed to see me, but only on the condition that Nicola wasn’t invited. It was a slap in the face. Then, when we returned to Los Angeles, they refused to see me.”

In another part of the letter, Brooklyn added: “My family values ​​publicity and commercial deals above all else. The Beckham brand has to be number one. For years, we went to great lengths to attend and support every fashion show, every party, and every press event to showcase our ‘perfect family.’ But there was one time my wife asked my mother to help rescue lost dogs during a wildfire in Los Angeles, and my mother immediately refused.”
