The relationship between Lamine Yamal and Argentine singer Nicki Nicole has officially ended after three months of dating. According to Spanish media, the most talked-about name in this story is Anna Gegnoso — a popular social media influencer and a passionate football fan.

Over the weekend, Yamal reportedly reached out to a Spanish YouTuber and journalist to confirm that he had broken up with Nicki. In a message shared on the TV show D Corazón on channel La 1 (Spain’s equivalent of BBC1), journalist Javier de Hoyos revealed: “Lamine told me they are no longer together, and the reason has nothing to do with any kind of betrayal.”

De Hoyos added: “He insisted that his trip to Italy last month had nothing to do with the breakup. At that time, he was no longer dating Nicki and wasn’t seeing anyone else.”

However, the fact that Yamal flew to Milan — where Anna lives — quickly fueled rumors about the two. Several sources claim that Anna attended a Barcelona vs. Las Palmas match last season and is an avid fan of Yamal.

Meanwhile, Nicki Nicole — who is seven years older than Yamal — also confirmed the breakup through a message sent to well-known paparazzo Jordi Martin. In a video posted early in the morning, Martin said: “Nicki Nicole reached out to me and said that she and Lamine Yamal have broken up.”

He then read her message aloud: “Hi Jordi. I don’t usually do this, but I just wanted to clarify that Lamine and I have not been together for a few days now, since I left Barcelona.”

Referring to the rumors about Yamal meeting Anna in Milan, Nicki added: “I’m saying this only to put an end to the cheating rumors. Thanks for letting me know, but trust me — if someone ever betrayed me, I’d be the first to make it public, just like I’ve done in the past.”

Interestingly, Anna Gegnoso has previously been rumored to be “the other woman,” as she was often seen attending Napoli matches and frequently posted photos cheering for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia — the Georgian star who now plays for PSG.

Anna boasts over 700,000 followers on Instagram and 1.7 million on TikTok. In a post before Kvaratskhelia’s transfer to PSG last January, she wore his No. 24 Napoli jersey with the caption: “You know I love you.” Her bio reads: “We were born to be ourselves, not to be perfect.”

Notably, Kvaratskhelia — who recently helped PSG win the Champions League and became the first Georgian player to score in a final — married Nitsa Tavadze in 2023.
