As Christmas nears, the former couple—who settled their divorce in January after two years of marriage—joined forces for some shopping with Ben’s son Samuel Affleck, 13, in Los Angeles.

During their Dec. 21 outing, the trio stopped in several stores at the Brentwood Country Mart before having lunch at a nearby farmer’s market.

And true to the festive season, they were bundled up in their coziest attire. Ben, 53, and his son—the youngest of his three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner—sported similar neutral looks, while Jennifer, 56, paired her thick cardigan with a brown dress and boots.

This gathering comes two months after the Gigli costars reunited for their latest project, Kiss of the Spider Woman, in October.

Indeed, the duo were all-smiles at the film’s premiere in New York City, posing for a few photos on the red carpet. And while they both produced the musical drama,

Which is adapted from the 1992 musical of the same name, Ben also believed Jennifer shined in front of the camera as Ingrid Luna.

Jennifer is incredible in this movie,” he told E! News at the time, referring to her role as a sultry Hollywood actor. “She’s fabulous.

And it’s an enormously difficult—it’s all these masters, so it’s not edited in such a way where you can make a little mistake here and there in the dance. It’s singing, dancing, acting and also trying to hold together these multiple tones in the movie.”

Though an overwhelming task, he noted the Selena alum—mom to twins Max and Emme, 17, with Marc Anthony—handled that “maximum level of difficulty” with incredible “grace.”

“I love her performance in the movie,” he continued. “She’s amazing, spectacular, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it. “This role, she was just clearly born to play. It’s a genre that she’s always wanted to do her whole life.”

And now that Jennifer has crossed this titillating plot off her list, she’s grateful that the Good Will Hunting star helped her recapture the film’s storyline through her own lens.
