Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner, reportedly share a “cordial” relationship due to their children.

According to a source, the two Hollywood divas are not “best friends,” but “respect” their kids’ decision to remain friends.

For those unversed, the 53-year-old father shares three children with ex-wife Garner: Violet Anne, Seraphina Rose (Fin), and Samuel. Meanwhile, Affleck’s former spouse, J.Lo., had twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony: Emme and Max.

Ben Affleck was the bond that once connected Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner. But after his and J.Lo’s divorce, the ladies didn’t seemingly have a reason to stay connected.

However, they have reportedly been “cordial” to each other because their kids, Fin and Emme, who said to be good friends.

Last December, Affleck and Garner attended Fin’s school play, which also featured Lopez’s son Emme. A source told the Daily Mail that the two mothers

“didn’t interact at all” at the event. While the “13 Going on 30” alum was quite “social with other parents,” the singer was “more reserved.”

“They are cordial, but besides their kids, their small talk isn’t going to be about Ben or what they are working on,” the insider claimed. Reportedly,

both moms seemed to be “okay with how their relationship stands.” Furthermore, they mentioned that the actresses do not “dislike” each other, but would also not prefer to be around one another all the time.

The source clarified that Lopez and Garner would not want to draw attention to themselves with their public interaction. They would like the “focus to be on the kids.”

“There is no feud, but their connection is from who they once were married to, not from any kind of friendship, so it is what it is,” they added
