Jennifer Lopez is turning heads once again. At 56, the superstar shared a fiery new video of herself performing her 2001 hit “Play,” dressed in a flame-covered bra-and-thong set, drop earrings, and little else.

The former “American Idol” judge posted the clip on Instagram as she prepares for her upcoming Las Vegas residency later this month

Lopez announced her new residency after hosting the American Music Awards in May. The show will take place at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, with dates scheduled through December, January, and March. It marks her second major Vegas run

Billboard reported that her first residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino from 2016 to 2018 included 120 shows and earned more than $100 million

The upcoming show, titled “Jennifer Lopez: Up All Night Live in Las Vegas,” will highlight chart-topping hits from her decades-long career, along with exclusive new songs billed as “never heard before.”

Lopez’s return to the U.S. stage comes after her planned “This Is Me…Now” tour was canceled in the summer of 2024 during her breakup from ex-husband Ben Affleck. She later spoke openly about how difficult that period was for her.

“I was so devastated to let anybody down, but I just needed to be with my kids and myself and really dig down deep into things that were happening in my life,” she told Interview. “And I’m glad I did, because it was a really difficult time for me.”

She continued, “Probably the hardest time of my life, but it was also the best time, because I got to do that work on myself.”

In the same interview, Lopez thanked her fans for standing by her through the highs and lows. “I have the most understanding and loving fans in the world. Some fan bases can be spicy. Mine are just a bunch of lovers.
