On November 27, the entertainer shared an Instagram carousel of her holiday, where she proudly showed off her family’s Thanksgiving turkey—and their whole spread, actually,

complete with pies and baked goods for dessert. She also shared photos of herself in the kitchen with her 17-year-old Emme—Lopez in an apron, to boot—and hanging an ornament on her Christmas tree while wearing a champagne dress with puff sleeves and embellished heels.

These are a few of my favorite things,” Lopez wrote alongside the carousel. “Happy Thanksgiving everybody I hope you all had a beautiful day

Lopez shares twins Emme and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, and for many years raised the kids as a single mom.

“I’ve been a single mom at times in my life, and [I’ve asked], ‘Am I enough for them?’” Lopez told Entertainment Weekly last year. “And the truth is, all you need is one really good parent to love you.”

Lopez previously described her approach to motherhood as “unconditional love. I know everybody feels this way about their kids, but I just feel like they’re super special. I can’t wait to see what they do

During her press run for her October film Kiss of the Spider Woman, Lopez told Howard Stern on his eponymous show on October 15 that her kids told her, “You’re not a regular mom. You’re not here every day. You don’t drop us off and pick us up [like other parents].”

“And I realized how much they needed me there,” Lopez continued, adding that, though she was working harder than ever to provide for her twins, “it wasn’t just about me giving them a great life
