And in and out of love approximately one zillion times, were just spotted grabbing lunch in Los Angeles, and they reportedly did some last-minute holiday shopping as well.

The pair were joined at the Brentwood Country Mart by Affleck’s son Samuel, according to Six, which also reports that they hit up luxe clothiers Sezane and Doen. So this was totally Samuel running a step-parent trap, right?

For the outing, Lopez wore head-to-toe chocolate brown: a full-length halter dress with polka dots, rich leather boots, sunglasses, and even a ’90s-inspired brown lip look.

She accessorized with a brown quilted Chanel purse and added a white knit sweater for warmth. She matched with milk chocolate nails, a version of the toasted mani she’s been so fond of lately.

The only thing she loves more than brown is, apparently, her post-divorce life. “It was the best thing that ever happened to me,”

I’ve had so much fun. I’m able to enjoy things more…. I don’t put that pressure on myself anymore,” she said of her new mindset.
