According to La Vanguardia, there is also a security group of 50 people in the United States who protect Messi’s family. The bodyguard has other combat backgrounds like Boxing, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo.

The two bodyguards’ names are Sergio and Jorge Ramalhiero, and they have been with the Portuguese star since his second arrival at Manchester United a couple of years ago. Both of them were a part of the Portuguese security police association and are familiar with combat and weapons.
