Radar Online exclusively revealed that Taylor Swift will not invite Kim Kardashian to her wedding with Travis Kelce. An insider told the tabloid that Swift and Kelce are planning what one can imagine to be one of the biggest weddings in show business. They have been looking at possible venues in Tennessee and Rhode Island. Moreover, the singer is keeping her guest list tight.
The source claimed, “Taylor’s wedding is shaping up to be a worldwide spectacle – everyone’s desperate to be there. But a few people are firmly off the list, and Kim’s definitely one of them.”
Taylor Swift’s decision appears to stem from her history with Kanye West, which began at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when he interrupted the singer’s speech on stage. Years later, things escalated after West released his 2016 song, “Famous,” and Kardashian leaked the phone call between Swift and West.
The 35-year-old later stated that the incident had a profound impact on her, both personally and professionally. Swift said, “You cannot approve a song you haven’t heard,” adding that the situation felt like “a character assassination.”
Even though it has been years since the incident, friends of the singer say she wants her wedding to be peaceful and free from reminders of that chapter in her life. The insider said that Taylor Swift desires to “keep her wedding free from any kind of drama,” adding that having Kim Kardashian “there would just bring all that pain back, and she’s not prepared to go through it again.”
