Travis Kelce is the perfect fit for Taylor Swift!

In a new episode of the pop superstar’s Disney+ docuseries The End of an Era, Swift, 36, explained she ‘always’ struggled with balancing her relationships and tour life. “The Life of a Showgirl” singer revealed that all changed when she started dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

“Relationships on tour has always been something I’ve really struggled with because it’s always felt like the tour was taking away from the relationship,” she said. “Somehow, I was not able to do both and feel like I was nurturing both at the same time, even though I would try and try and try and try.”

The Grammy-winner went on to explain that there was a “dynamic shift” with Kelce because of their jobs and how similar they are.

“We both have jobs where we go out in NFL stadiums, and we entertain people for three and a half hours,” the singer noted. “His with considerably more violence than mine — but he’s not in heels. But it’s our passion. We’ve been chasing this since we were little kids.”

She continued,  “I don’t think I ever thought I’d meet a guy who had that same trajectory. And I’ve realized that with this person in my life, that this was the right fit for me. You can have the two passions coexist, and they actually fuel each other.”

“Ultimately, we love cheering each other on. That’s rad,” Swift added.

And that they do! Ever since the couple started dating, they have supported one another during their concerts or games. Kelce even joined Swift on stage, dressed in a tuxedo and a top hat, during her “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” performance at her third show in London for her Eras Tour.

The crowd of fans roared as the football pro danced on stage and gracefully lifted the singer across the Wembley Stadium stage.

“The fans absolutely love Travis, and I think it’s ‘cause they can tell that he loves them too, and he just kind of loves all people,” Swift said.

“It’s so funny to be on stage and to see thousands of Kansas City Chiefs 87 jerseys,” noted. “If you would have shown me like, ‘This is what your crowd’s gonna look like in a year,’ before I knew he was gonna come into my life, I’d just be like, ‘Why are there so many football jerseys out there?’ It’s a discernible difference in the way the crowd looks. I swear to God, it’s like every 12th person has his jersey on.”

Swifties’ love for Kelce stems from “the way he treats me,” the star said. “It’s very clear. And I think that’s one of the reasons why the fans are so in love with him. ‘Cause you should be, you know? He’s very lovable.”

“First of all, if you ever would have told me that the most meaningful relationship I would ever have would start with a man saying that he was butthurt that I didn’t want to meet him, like, unbelievable. Unbelievable.”

The lovebirds announced their engagement after two years of dating in a joint post on Instagram on Tuesday, Aug. 26, with a caption reading, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” Swift wrote in the caption. The star athlete got down on one knee in an idyllic, floral garden.

The pair met after Kelce revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at one of her Eras Tour concerts, and the rest was history!
