Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry Send Support to Bad Bunny Ahead of Super Bowl 2026 Performance

Ahead of Bad Bunny performing at Apple Music’s Super Bowl 2026 Halftime Show during the Patriots and Seahawks game, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez, who previously headlined, showed their support.

Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show might not have happened yet, but Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez already like it.

As the “Monaco” singer prepares to perform at the Super Bowl 2026, where the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks are facing off, the “Teenage Dream” singer and “On the Floor” singer showed their support for his Apple Music Halftime Show.

Meanwhile, Jennifer, who performed at halftime in 2020 alongside Shakira, shared an equally sweet note in Spanish to Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio).

We are all with you tonight! I know you’re gonna crush it. I’m here with you the same way you were there for me. So proud to be Boricua! Dale fuerte Benito. The way only you can do it!”

Considering Jennifer and Katy know the pressure—and impact—of the Super Bowl halftime show, their messages are especially meaningful.

Katy’ Super Bowl performance in 2015 had many viral moments including dancing sharks and a mechanical horse. But for her, it was getting up in front of the whole world that she knew she’d remember.

“I feel that in some ways it’s a spiritual experience for me,” Katy said ahead of her performance. “I just hope that at the end of the day, over 100 million people are all smiling in unison.”

Meanwhile, Jennifer admitted the pressure was double considering she performed alongside the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer.

This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl,” Jennifer admitted in her 2022 Halftime Netflix documentary. “It was the worst idea in the world.”
