If you haven’t seen it yet, the video shows Lopez stopping by the popular GlamBOT photo station on the Golden Globes red carpet on her way into the awards show. In the brief clip, the singer poses and walks away.

If you’ve ever watched live red carpet coverage on E! News, you’re likely familiar with the GlamBOT.

For years, celebrities have been stopping by the GlamBOT photo station on red carpets to get a slow-mo glam shot.

Walliser is a filmmaker and director who has operated the GlamBOT for E! since 2016. He occasionally appears in the videos, as he did in Lopez’s recent one.

Walliser is not the inventor of the well-known camera. According to AdWeek, director Joseph Kahn, behind the video for “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift, worked with E! to create the methodology.

Walliser shared a video of his interaction with Lopez on Instagram, captioning the post, “The Queen JLO!! She walked the carpet so close to it closing

(it might have technically been closed at that point), so I was happy she was able to quickly stop. No messing around — just wham, bam, thank you, GLAM!”

In the short clip, Lopez walked up to the photo station and Walliser greeted her, saying, “Hi, my dear.” She responded by saying,

When Walliser said, “Lovely to see you again. You look amazing,” Lopez said, “Nice to see you.” The director then proceeded to instruct the star on where to stand for her glam shot

Walliser asked Lopez if she had an idea of a move or pose she wanted to do for her photo and she showed him rather than responding.

Lopez then turned around while preparing for the camera to take the photo.

Afterwards, Walliser complimented the star, saying, “Slayed it as usual. Thank you so much.” Lopez then walked away and waved to other photographers.

Some viewers read into the interaction, noticing Lopez seemed to avoid eye contact with Walliser and barely spoke to him.

“This doesn’t help her reputation of being rude lol,” one commented.
